Beautiful Day

I haven't been sleeping much lately. Unfortunately, my daughter wakes up screaming in the middle of the night. After helping soothe her, I often take a while to fall back to sleep. Can youth relate?

Even though I'm exhausted, I know tomorrow is a new day and a fresh start.

Do you hold on to emotions triggered by events from days prior or feel exhausted when you wake up? I feel ya! It can be rough starting off with little sleep or knowing you have way more to do then time in the day.

Here are four tips to start off fresh daily.

Be Grateful.
What are you grateful for today? I'm grateful to have this day with my family. Being thankful helps you focus on the positive.

Release Negativity.
Don't hang on to emotions from yesterday. Acknowledge and write down or meditate on any emotions you had from the previous day. 

No Social Media, News or Email First Thing.
Avoid anything that might trigger a negative emotion. Boost your positive mood with affirmations and mantras.

Say "I Love You!" to Yourself.
Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself how wonderful you are. You are enough. You have an amazing day ahead, slay it!

Remember, it is not what happens to you that creates your mood, it is how you react to the situation.
Make today, and everyday, the most beautiful day of your life! You've got this!!
